On day one Cat rode 340 miles, from the start in San Diego, California to
Congress Arizona. She rode steadily in 11th and 12th place overall with an
average speed of 14.7 mph for 24 hours. Day one temperatures soured to 109
with over 13,000' of climbing. Cat is the only female competitor in the
group.
